We like to shop local organic when we can for our organic ingredients. We are always striving to improve our products and use QAI certified organic when they become available.

Approximately 99% of our product line is vegan. We purchase from local organic farms or individuals that have the same love and appreciation for animals and organic that we share. We trust the 3 cruelty-free obtained, natural ingredients that we use in our non-vegan products: beeswax, raw honey, & goats milk.

All of our products are tested personally by us or other humans - no animal testing is used. + About our Organic, Handcrafted Bar Soap: it tends to last longer, so it is not only a wise investment financially, it is a wise investment for your skin! Our soaps are made using a high quality certified organic refined white shea butter and QAI certified organic virgin coconut oil base. Our recipes utilize the traditional all natural cold process method. Each recipe is handmade and hand poured into wooden molds. Cold Process Soap cures for approximately 4 - 6 weeks depending on the recipe. During that time, the sodium hydroxide (lye) neutralizes and the soap is perfectly safe for your skin. ALL natural soaps require the usage of sodium hydroxide (lye). Many soap sellers use shortcut melt & pour mixes and there are many that choose to not disclose their ingredients to their customers at all - that certainly isn't fair to you! All of our natural, high quality ingredients used in each and every product are specifically disclosed in each of our product listings and are also printed on each product.

+ About our Organic, Handcrafted Skin & Hair Care:

1.) We use the finest organic refined white shea butter and distilled water for the base of each of our products. Water must be used in any moisturizing product for it to be considered a moisturizer. Any product that does not contain water is merely a sealant. These products are also referred to as 'comedogenic'. Comedogenic is a term used by the FDA to describe cosmetics that can cause comedones (blackheads or whiteheads). Petroleum, paraffin, lanolin, glycerin, castor oil, & mineral oil are the top products to be considered comedogenic. These products do not provide any moisture to your skin, rather they create a barrier on the surface of your skin which does not allow your skin to eliminate toxins, thereby blocking & clogging your pores, trapping dirt and debris.

2.) We prefer to keep our products natural and choose not to use synthetic preservatives. At the top of our body & hair product listings, we disclose that they will have a 12 month shelf life, if it pertains to that particular product. If a longer shelf life is desired, please refrigerate. We are conscious and caring - we want to give you the most information possible so we can give you, the consumer, the tools you need to make well-informed purchases for yourself.
